It's 19" (length of metal channel), 5/8" by 5/8" width/depth. Top and bottom attachment has 'wings'. I think it is a 385 as the depth of the bottom attachment is over and inch (ie just over 1-1/16"). Is a 385 what I need?

Hi Scott,

There is a chance the Series 385 is the replacement you'll need. Although, I'll need to see just one more photo to confirm.

May I see a photo of the entire spring side of the balance? I'm particularly looking to see a photo of the bracket at the end of the spring. It connects to the cord (string), in the middle/center of the balance.

Thanks for the photos. Yes, the S385-19 should work to replace your balances. Especially since the balance shoe measures over 1". You can likely select the 1850 stamp option but you may want to confirm that your sash weighs between 17 to 20lbs.
