I have one window with channel balance is stamped with 2390 on them - this is a Viking window. I have another window and one channel balance has 235 stamped on it and the other has 239 stamped on it - this is a Milgard.
Is there a channel balance with a stamp option of 2390 for the Viking? And do you think the Milgard windows were installed with two different channel balances? This Milgard window weighs the same as the Viking window so I?m thinking I should put in a 2390 stamp option. Can you call me please?

Your stamp is part of an outdated weight system. The good news is that it isn't a part number, but indicates the amount of strength needed to support your sash. We'll need to see a photo of an undamaged balance removed from the window, including both end attachments, to identify a replacement for you. You'll also need to weigh the sash to choose the correct spring strength based on the chart under our product descriptions. Thank you!
