Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need to see your entire balance assembly removed from the window to compare to our inventory. We'll relate a few videos on this page to assist you in the meantime. Thank you!

please see photos of the channel balance, customer service said I need to measure the length, it is 56.50 inches in length from top to the bottom, and the window opening is 29.50 inches (it is a wooden non tilt window) and the size is 3/8 per the repair person. please see attached photos showing channel balance shoe, and let me know which parts to order. I need two (left and right)

Kindly expedite. thank you

Peggy

Thanks for getting back to us. What we can see of your balance resembles the S751-26 channel balance. The stamp code on your channel indicates that you would need 25TG strength options to support a window sash between 24-30 lbs.

You mentioned that the channel measures 3/8", while the S751 has a 9/16" metal channel. If the balance was measured with the channel still inside the jamb liner, I would recommend removing it fully from the window to confirm the exact width. Take a look and see what you think.

The 26" long S751-26 with a 25TG strength option would be our best replacement option based on the photos and information you've provided so far. With that being said, it seems like you measured the length of the entire jamb liner and the width of the opening where the balance installs. It is important to remove the balance entirely from the window to confirm the measurements of the balance itself since the window and jamb liner measurements do not indicate the specifications of the balance itself.
