I purchased this home 28 years ago. These windows were already here two of the windows go up and down, but The Channel balances have fallen out and have to hold the window up with a piece of wood. I know these can be repaired. I am just a homeowner but I am handy. Would love to be able to fix them and not have to replace them.

I sent you some new photos that I just taken of some other areas of the window that may help to make your decision of whether I can repair this or not. Thank you.

I just measured the windows. They are both 35 x 50 252 from top to bottom 35 sides to side I also measured The channel balance, which is 26 inches long from the white tab to the other white tab but the windows have no manufacturer name on it that I can find anywhere just an update. Thank you for your time.

Hello there!
Thanks for reaching out to us. Your balances look like a match for the S380-25 or S385-25 with the 2430 stamp depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. You'll have to measure as shown below. Note that the metal channel should also measure 25".
I also wanted to address the first photo in your second post here. It looks like your top sash guide is installed underneath the sash. This part usually goes at the top of the window sash channel. Is the other side of the window the same? Could you check an identical window in the house and let us know if the top sash guide is also installed underneath the sash?
Comparison of the S380 and S385 balance shoes.
