Channel balance

Question

I need help identifying my channel balance. It is stamped 29 4 NH BS1
it is 30 inches long on the metal and 31 inches including the plastic end pieces.

Thanks for reaching out! This window balance reminds me of either the S380-30 or the S385-30. To confirm the correct series, you'll need to measure the depth of your bottom shoe.

The 2940 stamp should work to replace yours but you may want to check that the sash weight falls between 23 to 28lbs.
