Good afternoon, can you please help me identify these channel balances and point me in the right direction? they are 18.5 inches long (not including plastic end pieces) and the only marking I can find reads "1840-" They appear to be just over 1/2" wide. Please let me know if you require any additional information. Thanks!

We'd be happy to help but we'll need to confirm some details to confirm the correct replacements. First, please confirm if the specifications of your top fitting match the 19-018 or 19-041 shown below.

We'll also need to know if the depth of your bottom fitting matches the 15-004 or 15-005.

Lastly, I'd recommend double-checking the length of your metal channel since the 1840 stamp would generally indicate that the balance would measure 19" long without the end fittings. If your channel measures exactly 18-1/2" long, the balances would need to be custom ordered. Please confirm the number of balances you need, with the minimum being two. Thank you.

good evening, thank you for your reply. The end pieces appear to be 19-018 and 15-005. Unfortunately they do appear to be 18 1/2" long. Will the closest "in stock" size that you carry still work even if there is some loss of range of the window? Will it add a substantial amount of money to order 18 1/2" ones? I also have another size in my house stamped "23-30-" that measure 24" long but they are otherwise identical. I will need 4 sets of each type (16 balances total). Thanks!
