Channel balance does not hold up sash

I purchased 4 window channel balances and although I did get the correct ones, I feel there is not enough tension in the spring since my windows won't stay up. Is there a way to adjust or exchange these for ones with more tension?

I see you ordered our S390-15 with a 1420 option. We do have stronger options for heavier sashes, but keep in mind that it is possible to have a balance that is too strong. I recommend weighing your sash on a scale and referring to the chart we have on the S390-15 store page. That will let you confirm which option would be the best match.
