Channel balance identifier

Hello,

I am looking to get an accurate identification number for the following channel balance that I am looking to replace.

27" overall length of just the metal bracket.
1 1/8" balance shoe.
26 9 KQ Caldwell is written on the metal bracket.

Thanks for posting. See either our S380-27 or S385-27 Channel Balances. The only difference between these two balances is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or the 'heel-to-toe' measurement. See the diagram below for reference. Based on your measurement, the Series 385 seems closest, but double-check to be certain.

You'll next need to choose a stamp option, which designates the strength of the balance. Your old stamp of 26-9 is from a rating system no longer in use. To know what stamp option to select, weigh the window sash. You can then match that exact weight with one of the weight ranges listed alongside each stamp option on the balance shop pages.
