Channel balance in Milgard window

Question

There are no markings on the balance. The length is 27" and I've included pictures of the ends. Thanks for helping!

If that 27" measurement is the length of the metal segment alone, then you will need to decide between S380-27 and S385-27. The difference lies in the shoe.

Do you have the 15-005 or the 15-004 shoe? 15-005 measures 1" in depth and belongs to Series 380. 15-004 measures 1-3/32" and belongs to Series 385.

Once you choose one balance or the other, you will need to determine the stamp option. To do this, remove your window sash, weigh it, and compare it to the chart in the product description for the S380-27 or S385-27.
