Channel balance replacement

Question

Hi, I need two window balancers for a Milgard, single hung window. I'm guessing it is about 20 years old.

The width is 1/2" and the length of the metal is 15".

The following is stamped on the metal: 14 2 DO CALDWELL

Thanks for posting on our discussion board. Your balance looks close to both our S380-15 and S385-15. These look identical with the exception of the bottom balance shoe. You will need to measure the depth of your bottom balance shoe, like in the diagram below, to determine which balance would work best. Whichever one you decide will use a 1420 option.
