Channel balance replacement

A quick learner from Marietta, OH says:

No distinguishing brands or part numbers visible. Top plastic clips are broken on almost every window. This one had cord broken on one remaining channel balance. Apparently other channel balance cord broke previously and balance removed by previous owners. I'm guessing several windows need new balances - this one is 16"

Thanks for writing in. We should be able to replace these balances for you, but I need more information to be able to help. Either way, these balances will have to be custom made due to the unique combination of attachments, with either a 15-005 or 15-029 Shoe and the 19-037 Top. 

  • For each set of balances, can you give us the length of the metal channel, not including the nylon fittings at either end? 
  • Can you show us the stamp code on the metal channel for each set of balances?
  • Are all the nylon fittings the same for each set of balances? If so, can you tell us whether the bottom nylon shoe resembles the 15-005 1" Shoe, or the 15-029 7/8" shoe? Which depth matches your current balances' shoes? Let us know.
