Channel balance selection for Milestone single hung, Series 2000

Question

The old balance is stamped unique 27-F-60 but measures 28 inches, 28 1/2 including the tip. The inside window measurement is 52X62. Please advise the correct part number. Thank you. Jim

The manufacturer of your balance has gone out of business, but we can still help. I would look at our S770-28 channel balance to start out with, along with our 28F option. You may want to weigh your sash just to confirm that this can substitute your old 27F. Two balances with a 28F option can carry a sash weight of 32 through 36 pounds. If your sash falls in that range, you should be good to go.
