Channel balance string broke

Question

Hi there. The cord broke in my channel balance.

Foot measures 1-inch deep. Metal is 27 inches long. I'm guessing it's a Series 380. Thanks for your help.

If your balance has the shoe depicted in the photo below, with a depth of 1", you can go with Series 380. If the depth is 1-3/32", that's the hallmark of a Series 385. Your stamped number, along with your measurements, suggest a 27" balance with a 2650 stamp option. You can check that by removing and weighing your window sash.
