Channel balance and sash guide

A home owner from Florida says:
I would like some help identifying the correct channel balance and sash guide for my window. I have non-tilt windows, the channel balance is 1/2" wide and 30" long, and is stamped 2930.

I believe the sash guide I need is 18-161. It is 1 3/4" long, and the other measurements seem to match those listed on the page showing the 5/8" NORANDEX SASH GUIDE.

Thanks for writing in. I agree your Top Sash Guide looks like our 18-161. As far as your channel balance, start by viewing our S380-30 or S385-30. The only difference between these two balances is 'depth', or heel-to-toe measurement of the bottom nylon shoe. For the Series 380 the shoe depth is 1"; for the Series 385 the depth is 1-3/32". Compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best; if you're uncertain, let me know the depth measurement of your balance's nylon shoe. In any event, you will need a stamp option of 2930. Let me know if you have any questions.
