Channel balances

Structure is 15 years old. Channel balances are starting to come free of the single hung windows. I need to repair or replace 8 pairs. Bottom piece measures 15/15 between wings and is 1 3/32 front to back. The mystery is why the balances keep coming free from the windows. Most of the time, I do not see anything broken.

We can replace this balance, but it will have to be specially made. Before we can begin, can you show me a picture of the metal hook at the end of the cord? Can you also tell me how many you need? With that information, we can email you a special order link and price quote for that quantity.
