There is a screw that holds it on window located under window for bottom ones and on top for top ones

Hello,

It seems like someone took a regular hung window and turned it sideways to make it a sliding window. This isn't necessarily advisable since the window isn't meant to operate sideways but see our 26-261 tilt latch as a possible replacement as long as the triangular tooth and dimensions match up to yours. Thank you!
