I've never personally installed this bar lock upside down. To be honest, I wouldn't advise it. The 80-006 is made to rest in the shoe bracket with the locking key securing it. If the bar is installed upside down and you don't secure the key into the shoe properly, the security bar will drop out of the shoe, rendering it more or less useless. As for the outside operating door, you will need to use the L bracket. I have installed the 80-006 using the L-bracket and found it not too difficult. |
