This is a very old Helix window balance that isn't made anymore, but we can custom make something for you. Before we start, I will need to know the length of your original balance, the height of the wood sash, the height of the glass in the sash, and finally the weight of the sash. Thanks!

Balance length: 51 1/2 which came from bottom sash

Upper sash is shorter so balance length will be shorter.

Top sash height: 50 1/2
Bottom sash height: 52 5/8

Height of glass overall is 48 1/4
Weight of sash: 35 lbs

I am ordering 14 upper balances and 14 lower balances. Please send price quote and when they might be available.

I am sending a picture of the window in a separate email since I could not attach it here.

Okay, tan. I will email you custom balance ordering links for the two sizes.

The balance tool, SWISCO product code 75-033, and balance brackets, 17-083, are available online.

Also note, the new balances are pre-tensioned, you will only need the tool to pull and plug in the new balance.

What diameter is the balance? I just want to make sure it will fit.

It is .670" to be exact, close to 11/16".
