Clip spring for screen

Screen mounts on outside of vertical slider window. Some screens are missing this clip spring and therefor do not stay in position. I do not know the name or brand of the windows, but they were originally installed in a new home in 1998 in Henderson, NV.

Here is a photo of the clip spring that is removed from my screen. It appears very similar to your part # 70-047, but my spring seems to have "wings" on the ends. The spring is inserted into two slots on the inside edge of the screen. Do you think I could twist the ends of your spring so that they remain in place in my screen?
