Clips/Strips/Retaining Hardware for Storm Door

A quick learner from Rochester, MN says:
I Have a Storm Door, single big picture window, that swaps beteen a Screen and Glass panel. The retaining hardware, not sure what they look like or are called, seems to be missing. The door was installed an unknown amount of time before we bought is so year is a mystery to me.

The only info on the door itself is:

Cambridge Series
Cole Sewell
St.Paul, MN D

I would prefer to buy original parts, but at the very least I need to know what they look like to I can either buy or make something similar. I don't understand why there isn't a model or product number on the door itself, but it makes looking up information extremely hard. But there's photos of the door, looking forward to getting solid answers.

Hello,

The problem with long retainer strips is that door companies change the style that they use almost every year. This makes it next to impossible to keep up. As such, we suggest considering something like our 70-180 storm door clip and drilling a hole for a 33-020 screw. This is how storm door companies did it once upon a time, and we still find it to be an effective and simple solution.

The 70-180 would need to be secured on the face of the door with a 33-020 screw. The end leg of the clip has a 1/2" reach and should press up against the screen or glass panel in the door holding it in place. I would suggest installing four or five on each side and maybe two at the top. Let me know if this makes sense to you. Thanks for posting!
