Closer and handle for 1-1/4" thick screen door

Question

I would like to know if your In-swinging door bracket will work on my aluminum screen door. I am installing a screened in patio with an in-swinging door. The closure that was supplied with the door is similar to the one pictured on your web page, however it will not work. The door is 1 1/4 inches thick by 2 inches wide. The door jamb sits about 3/4 of an inch back from the face of the actual door. Will your bracket # 40-006 work on this appliaction. Also will the door handle (40-028) work on this in-swinging door?

Yes, you would use the 40-006 Inswing Storm Door Bracket along with the closer you said you already have. What you need to do is eliminate the Triangular jamb bracket and use the 40-006 instead. As for the handle, please take a look at our 40-028 In-Swinging Door Handle Set. That is the only lock we have that can be used on an in swing door. Also take note that you might want to install a threshold on the bottom of your door to take up the gap below it.
