I'm trying to replace a broken part. See pix for clarification. One of the plastic pieces broke off

Many thanks for writing in. Your top closet door runner has been discontinued. We suggest the 23-093 top spring roller guide as a replacement. Please review and see what you think.

If it is compatible, I'm good with that. Will it install without too much modification?

No, I don't think it will. The 23-093 connects to the door in the exact same way, they only differ in how they slide along the track. Installation should be more or less the same.
