Cmech storm door latch

See our 40-150. We've used this to replace Cmech storm door latches in the past. You may need to remove the spindle insert to use a thicker spindle insert for this new latch to be compatible with your old spindle size. This is very easy to do; see the video below.

The 40-145 is a push lever, while the 40-150. That is their only real functional difference. However, whereas the 40-150 can accommodate spindles that are 3/16" or 5/16" thick as the video above demonstrates, the 40-145 can accommodate only spindles that are 3/16" thick, so if your spindle is 5/16" you want the 40-150.
