I need to replace the coil balance in a TRACO window. How do I know what "lb" coil I need?

Thanks for posting. If the spring has a "7" stamped on it, I would recommend our S180-7. Each of these can carry 7 pounds. You can weigh your sash and divide that by how many springs are used to confirm.
I'm not sure if you only need a new spring, or if you need other parts. It depends on what's broken!
