Coil Balance Assembly

I have 5 windows that have these assemblies, but they are broken and will not stay up when the lower sash is lifted. I hope you're able to identify the assembly with the photos of the assembly and the ID tag that was on the window.

Hello,

Your photos resemble the 15-180 Pivot Shoe, which works with Series 190 Coil Balance springs. See the 15-181 support and 15-182 bushing used with this assembly. Thanks for posting!

Thx. I do need 3 of the items that you show in the picture. I also need 4 assemblies of the picture shown. It is from a narrower window. Can you tell me what this is off of?

We'd be happy to look into this as well, but we'll need to see the pivot shoe and coil spring uninstalled as well to determine which support would be compatible. If it's the same type of coil balance shown in your original photos, except it only uses one coil spring on each side, see the 15-186 single support clip.

Here is the assembly., But the piece that screws in is broken. However, on the one that is working, it looks like what I'm showing in the previous picture. This is a of the 15–1 86.

In that case, you would use the 15-186 single clip, which is also used with the 15-180 shoe and 15-182 bushing.

Hi Casey,
I want a replacement a spring as shown in the last photo. It is one spring only for a smaller window. The number on the spring appears to be an "8" but I don't see this as an option for the Series 190 coil balance springs. Can you tell me which of the options works with this "8" stamp?

An 8 stamp would correspond to the S190-840, which supports 8 pounds each. One on each side would support a 16-pound sash.
