Coil Balance inquiry

HI, I am an architect and a client has a window that is not working. Looking to replace two sets of window balances, the only identifying info is a patent #8,458,878. I have some pictures and can provide dimensions but this message form does not seem to let me send pictures.

Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but it would help to see photos of the pivot shoe that your coils attach to. We'll also need to confirm the width of your coil springs and any numbers stamped on them.

As for the L-shaped bracket, that is not a part that we generally see used with coil balance assemblies. Coudl you elaborate on its function and possibly show us where it installs in the window? Thank you!
