Stainless steel bands have a large #4 followed by a smaller #10W
The coil balance housing has a patent number 5,353,548

Thanks for your post! This balance assembly uses the 15-087 Coil Housing Pivot and the 15-086 Coil Tandem Housing.

The compatible coil springs are the Series 180 Coil Balances. Since yours are marked with a 4, I believe you may need the S180-4. It may be a good idea to confirm that your sash weighs 16lbs.
