Coil Springs on 200-year-old windows

I have a 200-year-old home and the original windows were built without counterweights. And there is no reasonable way to add them. So I bought a couple of your window balances, surface mounted them, and they work great. The windows are single-hung (the top sash is fixed in place).

Specifically I am using the 8lb coil balance springs in the smaller part of the Series 210 dual coil spring assembly.

As you can see from the photos, I have done a crude but effective job of surface mounting the coil spring onto the 200YO window frame. It connects to the lower sash in a small recess with a brass threaded insert and a short 1/4" - 20 bolt. But it isn't an install process I want to duplicate around the house and all 23 sash windows. Question is this. Do you have, or can you make, a surface mount housing or housing cover/mount for the coil spring?

Thank you for your patience during our busy season. I'd first like to applaud you on your cleverness to get our S210 to work on your 200 year old windows! That is very impressive for such old windows.
