My coil balance has 832 stamped on it can i use your 840 part for replacement

Yes, you can use the S190-840 8 pound spring. The 40 just refers to the travel length of the coil spring, which is 40", whereas your old springs had a travel length of 32"--it certainly doesn't hurt to have a longer travel! Let me know if you have any other questions.

That you for answering me back you guys are great thank you and i will be ordering stuff form your company thanks for explaining about the length on the different numbers stamped on the coil really helped me understand for further down the line for other windows thanks very much
