Coil balance. With no markings

A quick learner from Oscoda mi says:
The balance measures 9/16×1-1/4 and looks like a single coil. It's for a single hung window. The bottom sash measures 28w x 23t. I took it apart and put it back together so they could continue to use it. I didn't think to weigh the window . Thank Tony

We believe we have a similar balance system. Look and compare the 15-228 pivot shoe with S160-6 coil spring. Using S160-6 coil springs on both sides of the sash will hold a 13 pound sash. The nylon coil spring cover, the 15-150S is simple to use. You place the coil spring inside above the bottom bumper in the cover.
