Coil balance number?

I have a 160 coil balance with a 6 or 9 on it depending on if the end faces up or down. How do I know which number it is?

If you should have a Series 160 coil spring, the stamped number on your current spring should read either "6.5 35 or 9.0 35". I would look for a stamped number on your spring to see if what you have is the Series 160. If you are still uncertain, I would suggest sending us some photos of your current spring so that we may take a closer look for you.

Only number is 6 or 9. Should the end be up or down to determine the correct number?

Your photos came in blurry, but I was able to make out the number 6, so use S160-6.
