Coil balance question

The replacement coil you're looking at probably won't work, since it's so different. Keep in mind the number printed on the spring isn't used for identification. There are numerous coil springs marked with "#4," so you shouldn't use that to find a replacement. Can you show me a picture of the pivot shoe to which your spring attaches? We can use that to determine what would work best.
