Coil balance springs for double hung windows failed

Thanks for writing in! I am confident we can provide you with the replacement coil springs you need. Although, to identify the correct series, I'll need to see a clear photo of the balance shoe and I'll need to know the measurement for the thickness (width) of the coil.

Thanks for the additional photos. Your coil springs can be replaced with the Series 165 Coil Balance. Since yours is stamped with a 6.5, you'll need the S165-6.

Be sure to review the pivot shoe, pivot bar, and cover tagged below to determine if they might need to be replaced as well.
