Coil balance weight

This coil balance is not stamped, so I'm not sure what weight it is. Any guesses? The window is 35-1/2" x 35-1/2".

Hey there. I think we can help, but we'll need more to go off of. First, can you show us the pivot shoe that works with this coil spring? Second, can you give us the exact weight of the window sash these springs support? Placing the sash on a bathroom scale will suffice. We'll do our best to help you from there.

Thanks for your help. The sash appears to be 14lbs. Here is a picture of the pivot shoe.

Thanks. This looks like a 15-087 Pivot Shoe, which works with Series 180 Coil Balance springs. If the sash weighs exactly 14 pounds (do confirm), you can use the S180-07 7 pound springs, one for each side of the sash. This would give you 14 pounds of support overall. Being within 1 pound of the exact sash weight will suffice. Let me know if you have further questions.
