Coil balance and metal piece at the bottom , so the top window doesn't free fall

I recently had a home inspection, and when the inspector unlocked the window, the top window fell freely- which was quite startling. After taking the windows out , we noticed a few pieces broken/ missing. I included in my pictures what I felt may be most relevant. It has a coil balance that's been broken.and the metal piece at the bottom is missing that would go inside the plastic piece .( sorry, not so familiar with the names of window parts). Any help would be greatly appreciated in if/how to fix them with your replacement parts. Thank you VERY much,
