Hello,

Looking at your photos, I believe you have the series S140-7 and S140-9 coil balances. You say you need only the (R) right-hand side, however, you should replace the balances on both sides of the window so that there are equal amounts of tension to support the window sash. Thank you!

I am replacing both sides but both sides originally came with 9R's. Thanks. Should I order 9L for left side?

That is odd. Whoever installed the window originally may not have known the difference. Either way, yes, I would recommend getting Right for the right side and Left for the left side.
