Coil spring broke

Question

I have a 28.5" x 18.5" window sash with a coil balancer and the coil broke (not certain of the weight). The old balancer doesn't appear to be from Swisco so the pictures may not be helpful but y'all seem to be the experts in window balancers so I'd like to replace it with a Swisco coil balancer.

Hey there. This looks like a 15-180 Pivot Shoe, which works with Series 190 Coil Balance springs sold separately. For each replacement coil spring you have to choose a spring weight, which determines the weight the individual spring can support. The video below explains how to determine this. If you need new covers for the coils, see the 15-186 and 15-182 drum. Let me know if you have questions.
