Coils and retainer

Coils have an 8R and 8L also missing retainer. Windows were purchased from a local manufacturer and installer named Kelly Windows.

Thanks for posting. This looks like a 15-087 Pivot Shoe, which works with Series 180 Coil Balances. That '8' stamp likely means you need S180-08 8 pound springs, though to be safe I'd advise weighing the window sash these coil springs support to see if it is approx. 16 pounds. Finally, I'd like to see the pivot bar, or metal pin in the bottom corners of the sash, that fits into those cams on the shoe just to confirm it will work with the slightly different cam shape of the 15-087. Many thanks.

Good morning, the window weighs 13 lbs.
Thank you

Thanks for getting back to me. It's a good thing you weighed the window! If the sash weighs exactly 13 pounds, then '8' pound springs would be too strong. Instead consider either a pair of 6 pound S180-06 springs, or a pair of 7 pound S180-07 springs. If the window weighs exactly 13 pounds then either choice would work--otherwise, if it's slightly below 13 pounds, go with a pair of 6 pound springs, to achieve an overall support of 12 pounds; and, if it's slightly above 13 pounds, go with a pair of 7 pound springs to get 14 pounds of support. Being within 1 pound of the exact sash weight is key.

The pivot bar looks like the 26-422, so you should be good to proceed with the 15-087 shoe. Let me know if you have any questions!
