Cole Sewell outside door knob no longer connected (long screw worn out / broke)

Question

This was a Cole Sewell 12169696000 and it looks like i need to at least replace the part which connects the outside knob to the storm door.  This thin 'screw" like part broke so the knob no longer stays connected to the storm door.

I'm afraid that we won't be able to provide that individual screw. Cole Sewell has been out of business for a long time, unfortunately, so we aren't even able to get the complete handle set.

The good news is that your particular handle set is fairly simple. Customers in the past have used our 40-058 to replace it and told me that it works well. Look it over and let me know what you think.
