Cole Sewell replacement handle

Quick Learner from chester springs, pa
Looking to replace due to poor aesthetics - handle worn but operable. Inside latch does not engage at appropriate depth, so handle does not latch adequately. Will require additional build up on top of whats there already.

Thanks for posting. See our 40-130. This is a newer style that customers have used to replace your old Cole Sewell set in the past. Just double check the specifications on the product page to make sure it lines up with your old part, and see what you think.

i dissambled an measures screw holes. 3 holes. from top to center = 7/8, then 7/8 to 1 3/4. picture attached. Will this still work?

also, are there alternative for the latch? If you look at the current set up, my latch is raised from the jam, not flush like the 41-130 seems to assume. Can i use the old latch? will it work with that unit?

I'm actually not familiar with that keeper, so I'm not sure if it's compatible with our 40-130. I can tell you that the 40-130 comes with its own keeper. Is there any reason you can't use that?

Concerning hole spacing, the only thing you need to worry about are the two outer holes. These are 1-3/4" apart. You can see more dimensions on the 40-130 store page.
