Cole Sewell storm door sweep

I have subject combo storm/screen door and sweep has gone missing. Registration number for door is 080400948640092. Measurement is 31 5/8 in x 1 3/4 in (gap is 1 1/2) x 11/16 in thick. Looks like the only one that might work is 40-003, the simplest. What do you think?

Parts for Cole Sewell doors are hard to come by, since the company is no longer around. You could use a surface-mounted sweep like the 40-005, but I'm not sure it would close up the gap. One idea would be to re-install the storm door, placing it lower to the threshold. You will need to attach a piece of wood trim at the top of the storm door to close up the header, though. Does either of those options sound do-able for you?
