ColeSewell Lever Handle Replacement

A home owner from Hilton NY says:
Hello friends, I am in need of a replacement door handle for a ColeSewell Storm Door. The exterior brass lever handle snapped off. I am looking at product 40-131, but want to double check to see if that will work. Measurements are as follows:
Exterior brass handle configuration: 1-5/8" x 4-12"; Interior black handle: 1"x3-1/2".
Thank you very much for any feedback provided.

I believe that our 40-131 is a newer version that could work for your handle. The most important measurement is the spacing between the installation hole centers; both should be 1-3/4". You will need to retro fit the keeper on the jamb to accept the latch and dead bolt, since Cole Sewell doors are no longer made. The inside handle of the 40-131 appears to be longer than yours, as well, so I would suggest installing the handle using the 1-3/4" holes already in the door. If the inside lower screw hole in the inside handle does not line up, you will need to drill a new hole for the bottom inside screw.
