Comfort Design, Inc. Series 1800 MST4060 coil balance

Question

Hello, I have not been able to remove this constant balance sash, but hoping you can help me out with a removal tool (I think there is a jamb spreader that might work?) and replacement part numbers. I believe, from searching, that it is 15-087 & 2x 15-086 parts, but want to be sure. I have to order them for 3 windows. thanks!

Hello,

Your photo resembles the 15-087 Pivot Shoe, which works with Series 180 Coil Balance springs and 15-086 tandem housing, sold separately. Review the specifications to confirm they match yours.

As for replacing them, we suggest following the cutout method demonstrated below if your jamb liners do not already have them. Thanks for posting!
