Commercial Door hinge

A quick learner from Florida says:
My commercial door hinge pivot broke. When I look at your website, the original from my door looks a lot like your 79-126.
Your description says Recessed Door Offset Pivot Set. What does "recessed" mean?

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
It means that the door sets into the frame 1/8", which is a standard recess on commercial doors. It could be so that it keeps the water from getting into the top of the door.
