Compressed thickness of the latch side of the strip on product 58-008

On your product, 58-008, magnetic weatherstripping, can you confirm the compressed thickness of the latch side of the strip? I purchased a set from another supplier and had it installed, and the thickness when compressed (door closed) is too thick, so I have to press on the inside of the door to close the dead bolt. Does 58-008 compress to 1/4" when the door is closed? Thank you in advance for your help with this. You have a profile illustration on the product page that shows the kerf insert, the magnet and the housing fully expanded. A nice addition would show the compressed dimension. Thanks
