Removing Screen Door Roller Assembly

A home owner from DRUMMOND says:
Is there a quick and easy way to remove the old Norco 84-139 roller assembly? How do I break off that curved tab that holds it in? I finally had to resort to destroying most of the nylon insert.
That still did not reveal how

Paul from SWISCO responded:
The way Norco designed this screen door roller assembly, you have to hook in one side of the housing, swing up the other side with the curved tab, and snap it in.

To remove, you are correct: it seems impossible not to destroy it, unless you can depress the locking tab.
A professional from CA says:
have you tried inserting an ice-pick type of device into the hole next to the roller? It looks like it should allow release of the roller without destruction.
