Hi, I have a couple of different Andersen Windows that need new balances. I prefer not to take them apart until I have the new balances, but I need to figure out which ones to order from you. I am hoping the dates and other data on the windows will tell you which ones. These windows are circa 1980 I believe, unless have have been replaced since.
Window 1) Andersen. Has triangle on glass that says: "Andersen" then has inside the triangle: A | W with 1 underneath. On the left of the triangle is a 3. the the right it says 80/0. Underneath the triangle is "X 1." The sashes are the same size top and bottom. The visible glass is 28 1/8" x 23 3/4".
Window 2) Andersen. Has triangle on glass that says. "Andersen" then has then has inside the triangle: A | W with 1 underneath. On the left of the triangle is a 2. the the right it says 80/1. Underneath the triangle is "X 1." The sashes are the same size top and bottom. The visible glass is 33 7/8" x 28 1/2". D
oes that help narrow down the balances by any chance? Thanks!! Email with any further questions. We will be needing a few. Sean

For Window 1, I recommend our 24-837, based on your visible glass size. For Window 2, can you confirm the size? Is the width 28-1/2" and the height 33-7/8"? If so, I recommend our 24-11L for the left side and 24-11R for the right side. Please note that Andersen bases handing on the outside looking in. Also keep in mind that the only way to be 100% sure that my recommendations are correct is to remove the balances from the window and read me off the stamps printed on the box itself.

I had a chance to check the dimensions on the larger window listed as Window 2 above. The two sashes are identical and are 33 7/8" X 28 3/8".
Does that change your balance recommendations?
Much thanks,
Sean M
