Contractor parts pricing needed

Contractor from 34243
I am in need of 4-30inch spring rails, part number 2910, 4 end caps, and some rubber gasket for the bottom of the windows. They are about 30 years old PGT aluminum. Also, what type of lube do you recommend for the springs? I am getting a muted squealing noise and tried cleaning them and spraying them with silicone with Teflon and it did not do anything. Please send availability, contractor pricing, and shipping to 34243.

Thanks for posting. The spring rail you are referring to is the balance for the window. To recommend a proper replacement, I'll need to see a photo of the top and bottom fittings. The stamp is only used to determine the weight range your balances should be able to carry for the sash, I can't use it as a part number to identify the balances.

In regard to the "end caps" or the the tops sash guides, I'll need to see an undamaged version removed from the window. I am looking for a front profile as well as a side view; like a mugshot.

For the weather stripping, which you refer to as the rubber gasket, I'll need to see end profile. This means you will need to expose a small piece from the track so that we can get a good view of the shape of the weather strip.

You can include the requested photos in this thread by using the text box below this discussion.

To help with the noise and lubrication, we like to use white grease on channel balance springs.
