It lays flat. 2 screws hold it in place. The bottom is flat, no guide on the bottom its just flat. I would like to purchase 2 sets, 2 right hand and 2 left hand.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We don't sell this exact latch. Can you write out the distance between the two holes, measured from center to center? That should help with our search.

They are 1 and 7/8 center to center. That's where the holes are.

Thanks for confirming. I'm afraid we don't sell a tilt latch with this kind of hole center spacing. Your best bet may be to contact the original manufacturer of the window to see if they can supply you with this exact latch. I am very sorry that we cannot be of more help but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions.
