Corner of a Malta metal screen

A home owner from Landenberg, PA says:
On my Malta screens, the corner piece to hold the pin is broken. Is the 95-150 corner piece shown here used to fix this? If so, how are they installed? The screen is in tact.

Good Morning,

The pin you are talking about is the main window frame itself. The 95-150 corner hooks into that pin. It is likely that this is the corner you need, but you will need to remove one of your existing corners to be sure. Carefully pull out the screen spline and screen mesh (without damaging it). After the spline and mesh are removed you can gently tap open the frame at the corners. Note: you may have a tough time reinstalling the spline and mesh after you replace the corner.

After you have the corner out, measure it and compare it to the dimensions found on the 95-150 product page. Feel free to take a picture of it and upload it here for us to take a look at. We can help you decide what the proper replacement corner should be.
